EESCC Inventory 

Entry Form for Conformance Programs and Rating & Labeling Systems


This form is meant to capture information on relevant conformance programs, including: certificate and training programs, personnel certification programs, accreditation programs, and building rating and labeling systems.

The EESCC Inventory plays a key role in the EESCC’s efforts to assess the energy efficiency standardization landscape and carry out the development of a standardization roadmap for energy efficiency within the built environment. We thank you for contributing to the success of this initiative.

Key Terms and Definitions:

Conformance/Conformity Assessment: Demonstration that specified requirements relating to a product, process, system, person, or body are fulfilled. Conformity assessment includes:

  • Certification: Third-party attestation related to products, processes, or persons that conveys assurance that specified requirements have been demonstrated.
  • Accreditation: Third-party attestation related to a conformity assessment body conveying a formal demonstration of its competence to carry out specific conformity assessment tasks.  

Please note: Submitting an entry does not guarantee inclusion in the EESCC standardization roadmap. All entries are subject to review by the EESCC and its working groups to determine whether or not they are within scope.
